Live Orchestra

With the rare exception, Eight O’Clock Theatre is proud to be one of the few Tampa Bay theatres to offer a live orchestra with each production. In most cases, a full 10-piece orchestra accompanies our performers.

State-of-the-Art Technology

CCPAC is not only a stunning venue but a hub for cutting-edge theatre technology. EOT is proud to call this state-of-the-art facility home as the community theatre in residence. With top-tier lighting, sound, and stage technology, our shows are elevated to a whole new level of immersive experience.

The mission of Eight O’Clock Theatre is to entertain, inform, and educate, thereby enriching the cultural life of the Tampa Bay area. EOT shall provide area residents the opportunity both to attend and to participate in quality presentations of a cross-section of the finest theatrical works available. Eight O’Clock Theatre is dedicated to presenting a diverse and entertaining slate of high-quality, volunteer-driven theatrical experiences that educate, stimulate, and enrich the entire community.

At Eight O’Clock Theatre, volunteers are the backbone of our productions, and we welcome anyone with a passion for the arts to join our vibrant team! Whether you’re skilled in set construction, painting, and dressing, or have an eye for costumes and props, there’s a role for you.

If working behind the scenes excites you, consider being part of our stage crew or operating the light board and follow spot to help bring our shows to life. We also have opportunities in fundraising, 50/50 raffle ticket sales, ad sales, and assisting with special events.

Volunteering at EOT is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and support the arts in your community. Come be a part of the magic!
